This acorn squash is stuffed with vegetables, rice, beef, and a few seasonings. We loved the vegetable medley you were able to taste and the freshness of it. Often stuffed squash has some sort of tomato sauce on it, and while those are delicious, we …
Have you ever wondered what you could do with those little Mr. Noodles packages you see in the store? Here’s an idea!
This dish is quick to make, even with a teething baby whining nearby and it is also easily adaptable if you don’t have the right meat or vegetables. For those reasons, I thought it would be a good dish for this quarantine season.
All you need to do is fry the vegetables and meat, cook the noodles according to package instructions, mix the sauce, and combine everything. If the meat is already thawed, you can make this recipe in under 30 minutes no problem!
I have made this dish with both ground beef and ground pork. They were both delicious. You could probably also use ground turkey or chicken. The broccoli and pepper is my favourite combination of vegetables, but that could be swapped out for some other types too if you preferred.
You can adjust the sriracha sauce amount to more or less to meet the desired heat level for you and your family. I find with this amount you can taste that it is there, but it isn’t overpowering. Also, you could use regular vinegar instead of apple cider vinegar if you don’t have any, but the apple cider vinegar does add a very unique flavour in this dish and we really enjoy it! I hope you do too!
Let me know if you make it and what you think!
